Children's Art Classes
Age 4-6, 7-9
Let your child’s creative flag fly with art classes that teach children in painting, drawing, sculpting, and mixed media art. Exploration and discovery of new materials will inspire your little one to try new techniques – and learn art terminology along the way. Students learn how to use a wide variety of tools!
Teen Art Classes
Age 10-12, 12+
Ignite your teen’s passion on canvas or the drawing pad with our Pre-Teen & Teen Art Classes that are customized to the students’ learning level. Discover new mediums and build on existing skills while honing their unique interests. Exploration and discovery of new materials will inspire them to try new techniques – and learn art terminology along the way.
Adult Art Classes
Age 19+
Discover your inner creative genius through personalized exploration of different art mediums and a variety of subjects like landscapes, portraits, and figures. Whether you’re looking to learn a new skill in painting, drawing, sculpting, or mixed media, or you want to build on your existing knowledge, our instructors will design the right project for you.
Life Drawing
Age 16+
Our life drawing sessions are designed to help develop participants interest in human anatomy and structure, as well as learning how to draw directly from the model. These are uninstructed sessions and wonderful chance for participants to have life drawing as part of their portfolio pieces that can be used for future college applications, or simply as beautiful artwork for the home.
For artists under the age of 18 must have parental permission to participate in nude life drawing sessions.
Portfolio Classes
Age 12+
This is a great opportunity for students to create portfolio pieces that can be used for future high school and college applications, where many previous alumni have been accepted to the school of their dreams with the support of our program. Students have developed portfolios for Animation, Illustration, Interior Design, Architecture, Painting and Drawing, Industrial Design, Fashion, and much more.
Design Classes
Age 12+
Design starts with looking and listening, critically analyzing and understanding the practical and cultural needs of the world around us. This establishes design problems. The designer dreams rationally and works collaboratively to solve these real-life problems using creative built solutions. This process is often iterative and unpredictable, but it is rewarding. The right solutions can (re)define standards of fashion and function for a very long time, and it can even change the world! For example, Edison’s incandescent light bulb, Ford’s Model-T, Apple’s iPhone, and many more.
