Pre-Teen and Teen Art Classes

Our teen art classes expose these budding artists to a variety of different mediums and how to use them creatively for self-expression. Students will develop skills in lessons that are customized to their learning level in sculpture, painting, drawing, and mixed media. This is a wonderful chance to create portfolio pieces that can be used for future college applications, or simply as beautiful artwork for the home.
Teens Will Learn:
- Self-expression through art
- Advanced knowledge of design principles: shape, form, value, colour etc.
- How to use new mediums to achieve their creative vision
- Art terminology
Mandatory Art Starter Kit for 4 Pass or More Registration
To ensure all our young artists have the right tools for success, the Art Starter Kit is mandatory for new students registering for a 4-pass or more program. This kit is designed to provide essential materials that complement our art curriculum and ignite creativity!

Art Kit (15-pc Brush Set, 35-pc Sketch Pencil Set, 48-pc Color Pencil Crayons, and an Art Smock)

Note: The Art Starter Kit is not required for single drop-in classes, Digital Classes, or Design Classes. If you’re signing up for a single drop-in class, simply come ready to create—no kit necessary! However, for those enrolling in a 4-pass or more registration, the Art Starter Kit is required to get started.

13 Passes – $591 + HST (save $191)
Note: A mandatory art kit must be purchased when registering for the program with 4 passes or more. The art kit costs $61.99 + HST for children ages 4-6, and $70 + HST for children age 7+, teens and adults.
