Snowy Forest Friends (Mon, Dec 22)
Ages: 4-9
Step into a magical snowy forest, where frosty trees sparkle with ice crystals and curious woodland creatures peek from behind the branches. Younger campers will paint playful foxes, hopping rabbits, and wise owls, bringing these winter residents to life with bright colors, glittering snow, and textured 3D elements. They will explore layering paint, adding sparkle, and arranging scenes that tell their own frosty stories. The day is full of imagination, hands-on discovery, and the joy of building a whimsical winter world.
Ages 10-18
Older campers will focus on the quiet beauty and depth of winter landscapes, honing observation and technical skills. Using perspective, shading, and layering techniques, they will create snow-covered forests that feel alive with atmosphere and subtle motion, from the sway of frosted branches to the footprints of hidden animals. Students working on portfolios can use this opportunity to create a refined landscape piece showcasing realism, attention to detail, and mastery of seasonal textures.

Ice Explorers (Tue, Dec 23)
Ages 4-9
Adventure into the icy north! Younger campers will become daring explorers, sculpting playful penguins, waddling polar bears, and sleek seals using clay and collage materials. They will layer snow, shimmering ice, and glitter to build sparkling frozen habitats, discovering how textures, colors, and shapes can transform their creations into magical arctic worlds.
Ages 10-18
Older campers will combine observation and imagination to create detailed arctic animal portraits or design inventive winter survival gear. Through painting, drawing, or mixed media, students can explore realism, texture, and creative storytelling. Portfolio students are encouraged to refine a polished piece, demonstrating skill, originality, and interpretation of icy landscapes and northern wildlife.

Arctic Skies (Mon, Dec 29)
Ages 4-9
Gaze upward as the night sky glows with the magic of the northern lights! Campers will paint vibrant auroras and sparkling constellations using pastels, glitter, and shimmering accents. They will imagine camping under magical winter skies, bringing the awe of cold, starlit nights to life in playful, glowing artwork.
Ages 10-18
Older students will create dramatic aurora borealis scenes using chalk pastels, acrylics, and blending techniques to depict the movement and magic of winter nights. Students working on portfolios can develop a sophisticated landscape or study piece, emphasizing mood, depth, and technical mastery while exploring the captivating energy of arctic skies.

Frozen Tales (Tue, Dec 30)
Ages: 4-9 years old
Today is a day of stories and imagination! Campers will invent whimsical winter characters, such as snow dragons, ice fairies, or talking polar bears. Through puppets, masks, or small sculptures, they will bring their magical creatures to life and create their own frosty narratives.
Age 10-18
Older students will develop winter folklore scenes or original mythological creatures, combining imagination with refined drawing, painting, or digital techniques. Portfolio students can create narrative-driven illustrations or character designs that demonstrate both technical skill and creative storytelling. This day emphasizes turning imaginative ideas into compelling visual worlds.

Ice & Crystals (Wed, Dec 31)
Ages: 4-9 years old
Campers will explore sparkling textures of ice and frozen landscapes, experimenting with watercolor resist, salt painting, and layering techniques to create glittering ice castles, frosted rivers, and magical icy worlds. This day encourages experimentation, tactile creativity, and the joy of making art that glitters and shines like winter ice.
Age 10-18

Portfolio students are encouraged to refine a finished piece that demonstrates control, creativity, and mastery of mixed media techniques, capturing the beauty and complexity of winter textures.

Winter Reflections (Fri, Jan 2)
Ages: 4-9 years old
On the final day, campers will celebrate imagination and new beginnings. They will create “Wish Jars” decorated with drawings and symbols representing their hopes for the new year, alongside firework-inspired paintings full of color, energy, and movement. The day is about reflection, self-expression, and the excitement of looking forward to new possibilities.
