Summer Camp 2025

“ The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”

Teaching students the technical aspects of creating art can be enriching, but equally important is inspiring them to use their imagination and creativity.

Summer Camp Weeks:

Week 1: June 30th, July 2nd to 4th
Week 2: July 7th to 11th 
Week 3: July 14th to 18th                                                                                        
Week 4: July 21st to 25th
Week 5: July 28th to Aug 1st
Week 6: Aug 5th to 8th*
Week 7: Aug 11th to 15th 
Week 8: Aug 18th to 23rd 

*Note: Week 1 (June 30th, July 2nd to 4th) and Week 6 (August 5th to 8th) are prorated to 4 day camp due   to Canada Day July 1st and Civic Holiday August 4th.

Location: 9 Ivanhoe Drive, Markham

Age Group
Our programs are for children aged from 4-16 years old. We will group children according to their age. 

In Studio Camp: 
All materials are included. For Full Day students, lunch break is from 12:00 noon – 12:45 pm. Included snack breaks at 10:30 am – 10:45 am and at 2:30 pm – 2:45 pm.

Portfolio Preparation:

Summer Camp Information

Camp Sessions:

Single Drop-In (Half Day): $75.00 + HST
Access to one half-day session (morning: 9 AM – 12 PM or afternoon: 1 PM – 4 PM).

Camp Day PASS: $140.00 + HST
Register for one full camp day (9 AM – 4 PM) or two half-day sessions.

Camp Half-Day Week PASS: $350.00 + HST
Register for five half-day sessions of camp. Choose either the morning (9 AM – 12 PM) or afternoon (1 PM – 4 PM) sessions.

Camp Full-Day Week PASS: $560.00 + HST
Register for five full days of camp (9 AM – 4 PM each day)

Before and After Care:
8:30 am-5:00 pm: $30 +HST/day

Hours:
Full Day:  9:00am – 4:00pm
Half Day (AM): 9:00am – 12:00pm
Half Day (PM): 1:00pm – 4:00pm

To complete your registration, please purchase the appropriate pass package from our Amilia Store. Once purchased, you can use the pass package to schedule your camp sessions.

Week 1: June 30th, July 2nd to 4th*

Theme: Sculpt & Create: A Mixed Media & Clay Adventure!

Ages: 4-16 years old

Unlock Your Child’s Creativity with Mixed Media & Clay! Get ready for an exciting week of hands-on artistic exploration! In this dynamic summer camp, kids will dive into the world of mixed media and clay, transforming their wildest ideas into stunning 3D creations. From sculpting imaginative figures to layering textures and colors, this camp is designed to spark creativity, boost confidence, and develop artistic skills—all while having a blast!

Week 2: July 7th to 11th

Theme: Masterpieces in the Making: Explore Famous Artists & Their Styles!  

Ages: 4-16

Step into the world of legendary artists and bring their iconic styles to life! From Frida Kahlo’s bold portraits to Michelangelo’s breathtaking masterpieces, young artists will learn, create, and experiment with the techniques that made these visionaries famous.Through hands-on projects, engaging lessons, and plenty of creativity, students will gain a deeper appreciation for art history while developing their own unique artistic voice. Whether your child is an aspiring painter or simply loves to explore different styles, this camp is the perfect place to learn, grow, and have fun!

Week 3: July 14th to 18th

Theme: Galactic Creators: Cartoon & Anime Adventures!

Ages: 4-7 years old 

Blast Off into a World of Imagination! Calling all young artists and space explorers! In this exciting camp, kids will dive into the world of sci-fi as they draw wacky robots, brave astronauts, and friendly aliens straight from their imaginations. With fun storytelling, vibrant colors, and playful drawing techniques, they’ll bring futuristic worlds to life while building confidence in their artistic skills. From designing their very own galactic superheroes to crafting adorable alien sidekicks, every session is packed with creativity, adventure, and hands-on fun!

Week 3: July 14th to 18th

Theme: Digital Art Fun: Create, Explore & Innovate!

Ages: 7-16 years old 

Unleash Your Creativity in the Digital World! Step into the exciting world of digital art and discover the endless possibilities of creating with technology! In this hands-on camp, young artists will learn to design, draw, and experiment using digital software, exploring a variety of styles—from bold abstract pieces to realistic painting simulations and even motion graphics! Guided by skilled instructors, students will develop essential digital art skills, gain inspiration from famous digital artists, and bring their own unique ideas to life. Whether they’re beginners or budding digital pros, this camp is the perfect place to dive into creativity and innovation!

Week 4: July 21st to 25th

Theme: Character Design: Cartoon & Anime Creation!
Ages: 4-16 years old 

Bring Your Imagination to Life! Calling all young artists and storytellers! Whether your child dreams of drawing superheroes, anime icons, or original characters, this exciting camp will teach them the skills to bring their ideas to life. Ages 4-9: Learn the basics of coloring, form, and facial features, plus fun techniques for drawing expressive characters! Ages 10-16: Dive deeper into figure drawing, human proportions, and advanced character design, with access to cutting-edge digital tools and iPads for those eager to explore digital illustration! With hands-on instruction, creative challenges, and endless inspiration, students will level up their drawing skills and design their own unforgettable characters!

Week 5: July 28th to August 1st

Theme: Wildlife Wonders: Painting Animals & Their Habitats!

Ages: 4-16 years old 

Explore Nature Through Art! Get ready for an exciting week of art and animal exploration! In this hands-on camp, young artists will learn about fascinating creatures—from majestic tigers to soaring birds and slithering reptiles—while painting them in their natural habitats. Through fun and engaging projects, students will discover how animals live, adapt, and interact with their environments, all while bringing their discoveries to life with vibrant colors and creative techniques. Each day unveils new artistic challenges, helping students expand their creativity and deepen their appreciation for nature!

Week 6: August 5th to 8th*

Theme: Watercolor, Ink & Mixed Media Magic!

Ages: 4-7 years old 

Get ready for a colorful adventure as young artists explore the wonders of watercolor, ink, and mixed media! In this engaging and hands-on class, children will experiment with textures, blending techniques, and creative mark-makingto bring their imaginations to life. From swirling watercolor washes to bold ink designs and fun mixed media surprises, every project will encourage self-expression, confidence, and a love for art! Perfect for little creators who love to play, explore, and make a joyful mess!

Week 6: August 5th to 8th*

Theme: Digital Art & Design: Bringing Creativity to the Commercial World!

Ages: 7-16 years old 

This week, students will dive into the exciting world of digital art, learning essential skills that can help them express themselves creatively while exploring commercial design concepts like poster making, typography, logo creation, and character development. Through hands-on projects, they’ll discover how digital art plays a key role in advertising, branding, and visual communication, gaining the tools to create eye-catching designs that speak to audiences. Whether it’s creating their own logos or designing characters for a brand, this camp will unlock endless possibilities and open the door to the world of commercial graphic design!

Week 7: August 11th to 15th

Theme: Illustration Adventures: Drawing Characters & Environments!

Ages: 4-16 years old

This week, students will embark on an exciting artistic journey, diving into the world of character creation and environment design. From drawing dynamic characters to crafting beautiful landscapes and animals, they’ll learn the fundamentals of illustration while exploring perspective, depth, and real-world applications. For teens, this experience goes even further! They’ll have the opportunity to transform their sketches into digital masterpieces using our studio iPads, blending traditional drawing techniques with cutting-edge digital tools for a unique creative process.

Week 8: August 18th to 22nd 

Theme: Masterpieces in the Making: Explore Famous Artists & Their Styles!

Ages: 4-16

Step into the world of masterpieces created by the greatest artists in history, from Monet to Leonardo da Vinci, Gauguin, and beyond! In this exciting, hands-on workshop, students will explore the timeless techniques of these renowned painters, learning why their works are still celebrated centuries later. Through interactive activities, kids will recreate classic pieces with their own unique twist, while gaining insight into the artistic processes that made these masterpieces legendary. For older students, we blend traditional methods with digital tools to take a deeper dive into art history and artistic techniques.
