March Break Camp 2026

Inspiring students to use their creativity and imagination to create art, as well as learning technical skills.

March Break Camp 2026:

Our March Break Camp week runs from Monday, March 9th to Friday March 13th (week 1) , and March 16th and 20th (week 2), and is filled with exciting art activities for our creative geniuses! In these two week’s programs, students will learn how to develop artistic techniques and use their imagination to create art.

Week 1: March 9th to 13th
Week 2: March 16th to 20th

Current Students 10% off 

Current CGA students who have attended a minimum of 4 consecutive classes at the time of camp registration are eligible for an additional 10% discount. Please note that no other coupons or discounts can be combined with this offer.

Age Group: 
Our programs are for children aged from 4-16 years old. We will group children according to their age.

Location: 9 Ivanhoe Drive (Berczy Studio) 

In Studio Camp: 
All materials are included. For Full Day students, lunch break is from 12:00pm – 12:45pm. With 15 minute snack breaks at 10:30am and 2:30pm.

Portfolio Preparation:
Students can also prepare for their portfolio during March Break Camp. Just let us know when filling the form out your child is interested in joining for portfolio preparation in camp.

A Creative and Supportive Environment:
At CGA’s March Break Camp, we foster a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space where every child can explore their creativity without limits. Our experienced instructors guide students through each activity, offering encouragement, tips, and techniques while allowing campers to experiment and take creative risks. Beyond developing artistic skills, children will build confidence, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork through collaborative projects and shared exploration. By the end of the week, campers not only leave with a collection of their own amazing artworks but also with new friendships, a sense of accomplishment, and a deeper appreciation for the arts.

• Day Pass (2 Half-Days or 1 Full Day): $140.00
• Half-Day Week Pass: $350.00

Designed for siblings sharing flexibility across camps.

• 20 Half-Day Session Credits (use as half or full days)

  • Book or reschedule with 24–48 hours’ notice.
  • Non-refundable, non-transferable outside your household.

Before and After Care:
8:30 am-5:00 pm: $30 +HST/day

Hours:
Full Day:  9:00am – 4:00pm
Half Day (AM): 9:00am – 12:00pm
Half Day (PM): 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Camp themes

Day 1: Monday, March.9/ 16th
Theme: Exploring Animals and Their Habitats
Ages: 4-16 years old

Campers will dive into the fascinating world of animals and the environments they call home! Younger students will explore drawing and painting to bring their favourite creatures to life, while older students can experiment with digital art, painting, drawing, clay, and mixed media to create detailed and imaginative habitats. Through this hands-on experience, everyone will learn to observe, interpret, and express the beauty of wildlife, transforming ideas into vibrant, lively scenes full of color, texture, and personality. Students will also be encouraged to think creatively about how animals interact with their surroundings and to add unique, personal touches to their art. 

Day 2: Tuesday, March.10/ 17th
Theme: Famous Artists and Their Subjects
Ages: 4-16 years old

Campers will explore the inspiring work of famous artists, from old masters to modern innovators, discovering a variety of styles, techniques, and creative approaches. Younger students will experiment with drawing and painting to capture subjects in their own way, while older students can work with mixed media, clay, digital art, and more to reinterpret classic themes with a personal twist. This hands-on program encourages students to sharpen their skills, develop their own artistic voice, and have fun while creating unique pieces inspired by timeless masterpieces.

Day 3: Wednesday, March.11/18
Theme: Science Fiction: Drawing Cartoons, Characters + People

Ages: 4-16 years old

Campers will dive into the exciting world of science fiction, creating their own cartoons, characters, and imaginative people! Younger students will explore drawing and painting to bring playful or fantastical characters to life, while older students can experiment with digital art, mixed media, and clay to design unique, dynamic figures in their own style. With step-by-step guidance from our teachers, students will learn techniques to develop personalities, expressions, and movement in their creations. This hands-on day encourages creativity, storytelling, and artistic exploration, allowing every camper to turn ideas from imagination into vibrant, original characters.

Day 4: Thursday, March,12/19
Theme: Mixed Media + Clay Fun! 

Ages: 4-16 years old

Campers will explore the endless possibilities of mixed media and clay, using these versatile materials to bring their imaginations to life in three dimensions. Younger students will enjoy hands-on experiments with texture, color, and shape, while older students can combine clay, paint, drawing, and digital elements to create intricate, multi-layered works of art. This immersive day encourages creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression, allowing students of all levels to discover new ways to make their ideas tangible. By the end of the session, each camper will have a unique collection of creations that showcase their artistic growth and playful exploration of mixed media and clay.

Day 5: Friday, March.13/20

Theme: Art Around the World
Ages: 4-16 years old

Campers will embark on a creative journey across the globe, exploring diverse artistic traditions and styles from different cultures. Younger students will experiment with color, pattern, and design inspired by global art, while older students can use mixed media, painting, drawing, clay, and digital tools to create unique pieces that reflect their personal interpretation of world art. This hands-on experience encourages curiosity, cultural appreciation, and self-expression, allowing students to learn from history while developing their own artistic voice.
